Padres Officially Ink RHP Dustin Mosely

The Padres released a press notice this morning that RHP Dustin Mosely has signed a one year contract for 2011.  

Moseley, 28, joins the Padres after spending the 2010 campaign with the New York Yankees.  He went 4-4 with a 4.96 ERA (36 ER/65.1 IP) in 16 appearances (nine starts) for the Yankees last season. The right-hander spent the previous four seasons in the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim organization. Originally signed by the Cincinnati Reds as a first-round selection (34th overall) of the 2000 First-Year Player Draft, he has gone 12-11 with a 5.28 ERA (137 ER/233.1 IP) and 131 strikeouts against 79 walks over 80 Major League games (32 starts) with the Angels (2006-09) and Yankees (2010).
